Phyllis Ann (Brooke) Girdner was born on February 25, 1949 to Voyne and Willma Pauline (Plumb) Brooke. She passed from this life on September 17, 2022 in Yellville Arkansas.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, her son Christopher Paul Girnder, and nephew Austin Brooke. She is survived by her son Richard Girdner, grandson Gunner, brother Phillip Brooke, and his family; Preston and Michael grandchildren Trevor, Tyler and Sydney Brooke, Rhett and Brandtly Brooke and Shawn and Kara Brooke. She is also survived by sister Marcia Davis and husband Harold and her family, Harold, Brooke, Adam, and Peyton. She is also survived by Aunt Pauline Brooke, Wendy Brooke and many cousins and friends. Phyllis' request was to be cremated with memorials being given to the family to help dery final expenses. No service is planned at this time.

Rhonda Jean (Tate) McNamer was born on December 3, 1957, in West Plains, Missouri to parents Darrel and Ireta (Dobbs) Tate. She passed from this life on August 31, 2022 at her home in Seymour, Missouri.
Rhonda graduated Avs High School in the class of 1976. Rhonda was well known in Ava as the City Clerk. Before moving to Seymour Rhonda enjoyed attending Gentryville Church. Rhonda met Robert McNamer and on September 27, 2008 they were united in marriage at the Gentryville Church. Robert was the love of Rhonda’s life and she loved to take care of him. All that knew Rhonda would say that she was a loving person. She loved everyone she knew and had never met a stranger. She was also good hearted and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Rhonda was preceded in death by her parents, Darrel and Ireta Tate, and her sister Beverly Lakey. Rhonda will be missed by her husband Robert McNamer. She also will be missed by her step-sons Brandon and Brittany McNamer, Michael and Amanda McNamer, and Chris and Sandra McNamer. Her grandchildren Cody, Grace, Kaylea, Kelsey, Jakob, Gabriela, Kaden, Cohen, Eden, Haven, and Laelyn will also miss her. Rhonda will be missed by her brother Joe and Debby Tate. Her nephew Brad and Mae Tate will also miss the influence of Rhonda in her life. Her great nephews and nieces will also miss her: Austin Tate, Justin Tate, Brayden Tate, Devin Shannon, Sierra Shannon; as well as her great-great nephews and nieces Kendel Tate, Tiana Shannon, and Tyson Shannon. Rhonda will especially be missed by her special dog Petey. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Pm at Ava Family Funeral Home on September 3, 2022. Burial will follow at Pleasant Home cemetery. A visitation will be held from 1 until service time on September 3, 2022. In lieu of flowers the family request donation be made to defray final expenses. |
