Donna Lee Hamm

​Donna Lee Hamm passed away from this life on June 2, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family.  She was born on September 28, 1943, to parents Lee Roy and Betty Lou (Craft) Moser in Wichita, Kansas. 
 
On June 30, 1962, she was united in Marriage to William Paul Hamm. To this marriage three children were born.
 
Growing up Donna loved to play the guitar and sing. She was an artist and avid reader who had a love for archaeology and mythology. Donna also enjoyed dancing. She would move all the furniture from the living room and have dance parties with her friends and her sister would join in, while playing her 45’s on her record player.  Later, she enjoyed caring for her family’s horses and riding together with friends and her husband.
 
Donna was soft spoken and used her soft toned voice when she gave unconditional love to her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
 
Before her health declined Donna loved to attend Trinity Lutheran Church in Ava, Missouri.
 
Donna is preceded in death by the love of her life, husband William Paul Hamm, she is also preceded in death by her parents, her sister Lynne Moser, and brothers Roy and Byron Moser.
 
Donna will be missed by her children; Theodore and Latrisia Hamm, Marshfield, Missouri, Christine Hamm and Gary Goutney, Ava, Missouri, Carie and Robert Salas, Thousand Oaks, California.  She will also be missed by her grandchildren Lynnette Hamm, Carolynn and Toby Osborn, Steven and Jennifer Hamm, Jacqueline Hamm, Savannah and Justin Huckaby, Brian and Leah Reed, William Salas, and Noah Salas.  Her great-grandchildren will also miss her; Rylee, Violet, Alexys, Matt, Kooper, Parker, and Wyatt.  She also leaves behind to mourn her sister Debra Hamann, brother-in-law Jim Hamann, sisters in law, Bonnie and Wendy Moser. Good friends Chuck and Marie Self will also miss Donna.  She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and friends to mourn her.
 
Funeral services will be held June 7, 2023, at Trinity Lutheran Church starting at 11:00 am.  A burial will follow at Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
