A New Beginning

This website was started in 2020 with blog posts written by my mother Geneva McCullough.  I have recently found some of her musings and using them and my own thoughts I am going to restart the blog posts with things that I hope will help you in your everyday life. 
 

When dealing with grief and the loss of a loved one many times you do not understand why the death happened. As humans we want to know why to be able to explain the death.  There are many answers to this, and each death has its own answer.  However, the answer for all deaths is also the easiest one is that there is no explanation of why the death happened.  In Deuteronomy 29:20 it says “The secret things belong unto the Lord our God. . .”  The secret things that belong to God we will not know this side of heaven in I Corinthians 13:12 it says “Now I know in part; then I shall know fully. . . “   Using God's words we should realize that  there is really no explanation for death and why it happens but someday we will fully know all the answers to the questions we have now.  

In closing I want to pass on words of the 40th president Ronald Reagan, "There are no easy answers, but there are simple answers."  The simple answers to this hard question is we are not to know right now.
