"I long to be close to you"

We are being asked to be "socially distant" from other people, but what they are telling us is to be physically distant from other people.  That does not mean we are to be spiritually distant from people.  At this time of anxiety, we need to be spiritually close to each other.

As the weekend approaches and many places of worship have closed doors I would encourage all of us to take advantage of social media, several area churches are either putting their services on the internet or TV.  Remember your neighbors and friends (enemies too) give them a call or an internet message to be closer together spiritually.   Remember God is always spiritually present "I will never leave you, or forsake you" Hebrews 13:5.
